As much as I love Leicas I just don't think I could see myself spending $5000-7000 on a camera body and then $5000 on a beautiful 1.4 50mm Sumilux. That is unless I was being paid quite well. Until then I lust after the much more attainable Sony a7 with a voightlander 1.4 40mm.

They do say that you should never pick up and play with a Leica because therein madness lies. You become addicted to the build quality.
Having so said, $50,000 for a camera, a bag, a box and a pair of white gloves is just a trifle excessive.
